About Me

Kelvin is a Director in one of Kuala Lumpur largest international advertising studio. Trained in commercial arts, he has worked with many professional photographers producing awards winning works in his advertising career spanning over 20 years. Some of the clients he has worked with are DiGi, Carlsberg, Nippon Paint, Perodua, BMW and Tourism Malaysia. His vast experience in print production includes colour management, post-processing and digital imaging.

Kelvin has always been passionate about photography and his career as a professional photographer. Apart from producing client’s work, he also travels extensively around Malaysia and overseas to capture the moments that inspire him. He is a columnist for Advance Images, a bimonthly Malaysian photography magazine writing about travel and photography. A member of the Photo Creator Publication Club has done numerous travel photography presentations and workshops including those in the annual Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival. He has over the years participated in many join photo exhibitions and is one of the mentor photographers for the National Art Gallery Photography project for students.

His pictures are available through Corbis, a commercial stock images company based in the United States. His works have always been appraised by the public and his images of Malaysia’s landmarks, cultures and local events have been featured frequently to promote Tourism Malaysia both locally in Malaysia and overseas. His latest travel photos are featured in the March 2009 issue of the Malaysian edition of Marie Claire.

I was in East Coast with a group of friends over the Labour Day weekend. Took a long drive, like 12 hours on the first day reaching K.T to shot the floating mosque during sunset.  Got my first ticket when all 3 of our cars forgot to put in parking meter as we thought is weekend and don't have to pay...
